Our Story
Mr. Delanglade, affectionately referred to as “Doudou” of a longtime Marseillais family, fell in love with Cassis. In 1987, his dream came true when he bought a magnificent 5 acre property overlooking the sea on the famed Route des Crêtes. The family enjoyed the property for many years hosting family gatherings, parties and enjoying long summers together. In recent years, anxious to support the family property and to share with others the splendour of this beautiful paradise, his wife, “Dadi” along with their two daughters and four grandchildren, decided to build two villas. They built Villa Dadou, named after Doudou and Dadi and Villa Mita, named after Doudou’s mother Mita. In the works is a 3rd and final villa which will be named in the coming months. Although Mr. and Mrs. Delanglade are no longer with us, the family history lives on through their family including grandchildren and now great grandchildren and this little slice of paradise called Villas des Crêtes.
